Rajasthan Royals produced a thrilling comeback against Delhi Capitals to win their first match of IPL 2021. Batting first, Delhi Capitals were restricted to 147/8 in 20 overs as Jaydev Unadkat (3/15) and Mustafizur Rahman (2/29) starred with the ball. Only Rishabh Pant got going for Delhi in the innings as he scored 51 runs off 32 balls.

In reply, Royals were reduced to 42/5 at one stage in the 10th over of the game. But brilliant half-century from David Miller (62 off 43) and Chris Morris' late cameo (36* off 18) guided Rajasthan to a remarkable 3-wicket win.
