Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are two of the biggest stars of Indian cricket at the moment. While Indian fans want them to score runs when they are playing for India, loyalties are obviously divided come the Indian Premier League. However, the two seemed uber cool with each other's presence in the opposing dugout and even shared a few lights moments off the field.

Pictures going viral on the internet show The Hitman and King Kohli share a laugh about something, talk to each other and almost side hugging each other at the toss. The pictures have also become newsworthy since certain media reports doing the rounds had suggested that there is some kind of a rift inside the Indian dressing room because of which players were upset with Kohli and trusted Rohit as a senior player.

Such reports had emerged after Kohli announced his decision to step down as the T20I skipper post the T20 World Cup in UAE & Oman. He later also confirmed that he won't be the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore after the ongoing season. This could also mean that this was perhaps the last time Rohit and Kohli were spotted at the toss together since MI's chances of securing a Playoff berth suddenly seem bleak.

Talking about the match, Mumbai won the toss and opted to field first. The Bangalore side led by half-centuries from skipper Kohli and Glenn Maxwell reached 165/6. In response, the Mumbai Indians batters had got off to a great start with Rohit Sharma looking in great touch. However, the middle order failed yet again and Harshal Patel's hat-trick towards the end, ended all hopes of a win for the Mumbai Indians.

With their third successive defeat, Mumbai have fallen to seventh place in the points table while Bangalore remain at the third position with 12 points. MI will have to win all their matches from here to stay in contention for a place in the Playoff. However, with the poor form of their middle-order batters it seems unlikely at this stage. But given that they have pulled off similar feats in the past, they would be confident of making a turnaround from here.
