With the UAE-leg of Indian Premier League 2021 getting underway on Sunday with the Chennai Super Kings- Mumbai Indians match at Dubai, the action will now shift to Abu Dhabi. It is at this venue that the Kolkata Knight Riders will meet Royal Challengers Bangalore. Prior to this highly anticipated match, former India opener Wasim Jaffer has yet again left fans puzzled over one of his cryptic tweets.

While suggesting that he was excited to see a couple of players in this match, he did not literally name them but posted an image of a goat. Jaffer, who is part of the Punjab Kings coaching camp, shared the picture in which the goat could be seen dressed in an orange-coloured shirt. While close followers of cricket named Dinesh Karthik as one of the players who attracted a lot of limelight for the choice of his shirts during his commentary stint with Sky Sports, others were of the opinion that he meant G.O.A.T or the Greatest of All Time which could be Virat Kohli or AB de Villiers.

Kohli's last season as captain of RCB

Meanwhile, the ongoing season of the IPL is set to be Kohli's last stint as the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore. The 32-year-old himself made the announcement in a video shared by the franchise on their social media. Earlier, Kohli had also announced that he will step down as the leader of the Indian T20I team citing workload management. Since then, it was only being speculated that while there are only a handful of T20Is played in a calendar year, much of the workload in T20s is surrounding the IPL season.

Here is Kohli's announcement:

Kohli put a full stop to all those speculations also stating that he will play for only Royal Challengers Bangalore until he retires from all forms of cricket. This means he is set to be retained by the franchise ahead of the mega auctions next year.

Prior to that though, Kohli has a job on his hand as he will look to finish his reign with an IPL title that never came under his captaincy.
