Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 18 runs with the help of a terrific 96-run knock from skipper Faf du Plessis and a four-wicket haul with the ball from Josh Hazlewood. Initially, RCB were struggling as Chameera picked 2 wickets in 2 balls in the first over of the match but a cameo from Glenn Maxwell and a Solid knock from Faf du Plessis helped RCB to post a total of 181/6 on board.
In reply, Lucknow batters failed to play big knocks. Krunal Pandya was the lone warrior for the franchise. In the end, Hitters like Marcus Stoinis and Jason Holder couldn't finish the game for them.
