IPL governing council on Thursday released the list of players who have registered for the IPL 2023 mini-auction. A t otal of 991 players have signed up to be a part of the upcoming auction.  714 Indian and 277 overseas players have registered themselves to be part of the IPL 2023. The players' list includes 185 capped, 786 uncapped, and 20 players from Associate Nations.

Notably, t he IPL 2023 mini-auction is scheduled to take place on December 23, 2022 in Kochi.

England all-rounder Sam Curran, Ben Stokes, and Aussie all-rounder Cameron Green are among 21 players who have listed their base price at INR 2 crore for the 2023 IPL auction.

Veteran all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, who was released by Chennai Super Kings, has not put his name for the auction. 

Notably, n ot a single Indian player has registered themselves at the base price of 2 crores. 

Veteran Indian players like Ajinkya Rahane and Ishant Sharma have cut down their base price for the 2023 mini-auction.  Rahane, who was released by Kolkata Knight Riders having bought him for 1 crore in the last auction, has set his base price at 50 lakh. Ishant, who went unsold in 2022, has set 75 lakh as base price.

Punjab Kings' ex-skipper Mayank Agarwal, who earned 14 crores last season after being retained by the franchise, was released after a below-par 2022 season. The opener this time has asked for 1 crore.
