Mumbai Indians will be pumped for the IPL 2024 auction as they made massive improvements in the previous 2023 season. After finishing last in 2022, the five-time champions reached the playoffs before finishing third with a loss in the eliminator against the Gujarat Titans.

But before the upcoming auction, Mumbai is set to complete a historic trade for GT captain Hardik Pandya where the five-time champs will pay the Indian all-rounder INR 15 crore fee to the Titans. This deal will certainly affect MI's retained players' list as the five-time champs have the smallest purse at INR 0.05 crore (USD 0.006 million).
