The finalists from the 2014 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Punjab Kings, have shared their released players list ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. Under the leadership of Shikhar Dhawan in the last season, PBKS were far from their best, finishing third from bottom on the IPL points table, with some good performances followed by a lot more poor outings.

Punjab Kings will have a purse amounting to ₹12.20 crore from the IPL auction last season, along with ₹5 crore added to it after the new ruling announced for all the teams by the IPL governing council. Now that PBKS have released players before the upcoming auction, they will have a substantially bigger purse to splurge on their squad to best prepare for the IPL 2024 season.
