In a big update ahead of Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 fixture against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on May 20, reports have claimed that the upcoming match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), set to be held on May 23 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, has been relocated.

However, an official confirmation on the same is still awaited from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), but reports citing ESPNcricinfo have quoted that the RCB versus SRH IPL 2025 fixture as been moved to Lucknow and will be played on May 23 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.

It is to being speculated that the decision by the BCCI comes seeing the last match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium get washed away due to rain without toss. With persistent rains in Bengaluru, the IPL 2025 match number 58 between RCB and KKR was abandoned without toss.

While everyone waits for a confirmation on the same, in another big development, it is being reported that Ahmedabad will host final at the Narendra Modi Stadium on June 3, along with the Qualifier 2 on June 1. Moreover, the the first two matches of the playoffs, Qualifier 1 and Eliminator are likely to be played in Mullanpur on May 29 and May 30.
