After two months of cricketing action, the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has reached its final stage where Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings will lock horns in the title clash at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This time, we will also get a new IPL champion with the two franchises, who never won the title despite being a part of the tournament since 2008, play the final.

It will be a big moment for any team which ends up winning the IPL title on 3rd of June. However, the losing team in the final will also not go empty handed as every team in the playoffs will receive the prize money after the end of the tournament. Along with the franchises, the players who turned out to be exceptional performers and won several awards, will also receive a certain amount of prize money.

The team which ends up as a champion of IPL 2025 will receive a whopping INR 20 Crore prize money while the runners-up will also get INR 13 Crore. Apart from that, the team which ended up playing the eliminator with receive INR 6.5 Crore while the teams playing the second qualifier will get INR 7 Crore.

IPL 2025 prize money distribution

Talking about the individual performances, the BCCI will also distribute the prize among the players who won a particular award for their extraordinary performances throughout the season. The Orange Cap winner (most runs in a season) and the Purple Cap winner (most wickets in a season) will receive INR 10 Lakh each.

The Emerging player of the season will get a prize money of INR 20 Lakh. Apart from that, the player with the highest strike rate, most sixes, most valuable player and the game changer of the season will receive INR 10 Lakh each.
