The 17th edition of IPL ended in a stunning fashion with Kolkata Knight Riders beating SunRisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in summit clash at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. With this emphatic win, the Knight Riders sealed their third IPL title from their four appearances in the finale.
Speaking of the match, the SunRisers Hyderabad elected to bat first after winning the toss. However, this decision of the Pat Cummins-led side did not rest well as the KKR bundled them out at the score of 113. The Shreyas Iyer-led side successfully chased the total in 10.3 overs to lift the title and end their 10-year-long trophy draught.
