It’s an honour that his daughter married my son: Javed Miandad on Dawood Ibrahim
The 66-year-old cricketer spoke to Pakistani journalist Hassan Nisar on the latter’s YouTube channel. He said, “I have known him for a long time, from Dubai. It is an honour for me that his daughter married my son. My daughter-in-law is very well-educated; she studied in a convent school and went to a renowned university.” He went on to say, “Understanding the real Dawood Ibrahim is not easy. The way people think about the family, they are not like that.”
Apart from revealing his equation and relation with Dawood Ibrahim, Miandad also revealed the reason behind why he became a cricketer. Miandad said, “Cricket is a family game for me. My father played it, my elder brother Bashir Miandad played it, then my two younger brothers Anwar and Sohail, both played first-class cricket.”
