India finally managed to register a win in the five-match T20I series against South Africa and with that kept themselves alive in the series. While the Men in Blue had lost the first two matches, this was a must-win game for them to keep the possibility of a series win alive. The Rishabh Pant-led side managed to do just that as they beat South Africa by 48 runs in this match at the Dr. YSR ACA VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

While Pant lost another toss, the Indian batters put on an improved show from the second match and managed to post 179/5 in the second T20I with the help of half-centuries from Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan. Later it was a clinical performance from the Indian bowlers with Harshal Patel picking up 4 wickets for 25 runs and Yuzvendra Chahal scalping 3 for 20.

However, it was an interesting incident that caught the eye of the netizens. During the ninth over after the fifth ball, Venkatesh Iyer and Arshdeep Singh were seen raising their finger from outside the fence. Noticing that, Yuzvendra Chahal turned out and ended up getting the wicket of Dwaine Pretorius in the next ball.

The image of the same has surfaced on social media:

However, some of the social media users have pointed out that it wasn't an out signal as indicated by the Twitter handle but a reminder that one more ball was remaining in the over. Yuzvendra Chahal ultimately was adjudged the Player of the Match and his performance silences critics including Wasim Jaffer who said that the leg-spinner has failed to impress in Indian colours lately.

"I was bowling too many and quick sliders in the last game. I spoke to Paras sir and coaches about it. So I tried to bowl quick legbreaks, but with a different seam position today," Yuzvendra Chahal said on the changes he made to his bowling on Wednesday.

India and South Africa will face off in the fourth T20I on Friday.
