The Japan Premier League is back this year and it will feature representative teams from East, West, South, and North Kanto as well as Kansai. The tournament takes place at the Sano International Cricket Ground from May 5 to May 7. Each team plays every other team once followed by a final between the top two teams. The JPL is live-streamed on the Japan Cricket Youtube channel on which can follow all the action.

Kansai Chargers, West Kanto Hurricanes, East Kanto Sunrisers, North Kanto Lions, and South Kanto Super Kings are the five teams playing in this top-tier T20 tournament.  The tournament was back last year after a Covid break when the East Kanto Sunrisers and South Kanto Super Kings reached the finals, which was abandoned and both teams shared the title. South Kanto Super Kings are the most successful team in the tournament with five titles.
