Mumbai Indians’ bowling ace Jasprit Bumrah made a young fan’s day by giving him his Purple Cap after the Lucknow Super Giants’ clash. The MI pace spearhead currently sits on the top of the Purple Cap tally with 14 wickets from 10 games. The five-time winners clashed against Lucknow Super Giants in a thundering clash of the IPL 2024 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on April 30, Tuesday. The match saw the hosts securing a four-wicket win over the Hardik Pandya-led squad.
After the game, a heartfelt video of Bumrah went viral where he could be seen giving his Purple Cap to his young fan. Not only this, but the 30-year-old also gave an autograph to the young fan. Needless to say, the kind gesture by the Indian cricketer left the fan jumping with joy. The video was posted by Mumbai Indians, and was accompanied by the caption, “That kid now has a core memory for life”.
Suryakumar Yadav fulfills wish of specially abled fan after LSG vs MI IPL 2024
Mumbai Indians batter Suryakumar Yadav met a specially abled fan before the game against Lucknow Super Giants. After the net session, the MI veteran met a special fan and clicked a picture with him. The fan thanked ‘Dada’ and asked him for his help to meet MI’s former skipper Rohit Sharma. In the heartwarming video posted by MI, the fan could be heard telling Yadav, “Dada, I want to meet Rohit Sharma.”
Yadav quickly agreed to it and said that he would ask Sharma right away. The video then showed Sharma meeting the fan outside the stadium and signing his jersey for him. The five-time IPL-winning franchise posted the video and wrote, “Wholesome content alert.” The video went viral within no time, and the MI players garnered fans’ praise for their heartfelt gesture.
