India pacer Jasprit Bumrah is set to miss the England ODIs, starting from March 23. The 27-year-old, who recently got married to sports anchor Sanjana Ganesan on March 15 in Goa, had earlier requested BCCI for leave. Bumrah was only part of India’s two Test matches against England, before he was released ahead of the fourth Test.

Jasprit Bumrah has been in action from Indian Premier League 2020. He was a part of India’s historic win Down Under and played a crucial role in India’s 3-1 win against England in the four-match Test series. However, he missed the T20I leg of the series, the pacer is likely to miss the three-match ODI series against the Three Lions.

The 27-year-old is expected to join Mumbai Indians camp towards the end of this month. He will enter the bio-bubble for a week-long quarantine before flying to Chennai for Mumbai Indian’s opening match. The defending champions Mumbai Indians will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in the season opener on April 9 in Chennai.

Krunal Pandya and Prasidh Krishna likely to receive ODI call-ups: Reports

According to reports, Baroda all-rounder Krunal Pandya and Karnataka pacer Prasidh Krishan are likely to receive maiden call-ups for Team India. The final leg of India-England series, is set to commence from March 23. Seeing their recent form in the domestic circuit, Prasidh Krishna scalped 14 wickets over the course of Vijay Hazare Trophy. However, Krunal Pandya was last seen playing for Baroda in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy.

The three-match ODI series will be played behind closed doors in Pune. England are currently up 2-1 up in the five match T20I series and will shift to new bio-bubble before starting the series on March 23.
