Indian footballer Jyoti Chouhan became the first Indian to score in a European Final. Playing for Croatian football club ZNK Dinamo Zagreb, Jyoti scored in the finals of the Croatia Women’s Cup.
With the scores levelled at 1-1 at half-time, Jyoti gave a lead to her side as she hit the back of the net in the 48th minute. However, a brace from Aida Hadzic, left ZNK trailing. Later they finished on the losing end with a scoreline 2-3.

Jyoti has been impressive during her stint with ZNK Dinamo Zagreb. It is to be noted that in May 2023, Jyoti entered the history books as she became the first Indian woman to score a hat-trick in European top-flight football . This hat-trick came against ZNK Agram, last month.
She has signed a year-long contract with the Croatian club, also become their first overseas signing of the season. She has previously represented Gokulam Kerala FC. Jyoti and her Gokulam teammate Soumya Guguloth are the first-ever international players for the Dinamo Zagreb women football team.
