In match number 34 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru are hosting the Punjab Kings at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. While both the sides are coming into this match on the back of a win, they will hope to continue their winning momentum from here on, seeing the tournament take shape now.
For the unversed, Shreyas Iyer, PBKS skipper won the toss and decided to field first. As a result, the hosts were put to bat first, but crumbled like a pack of cards. Opener Phil Salt was dismissed after scoring four off four deliveries in the very first over bowled by Arshdeep Singh, the PBKS spearhead then dismissed Virat Kohli in his next over.
Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma and Krunal Pandya could also not contribute much with their bats and departed in quick succession which led to RCB scoreboard reading 34/4 at the end of six overs.
