Former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal's sacrificial goat has been stolen from outside his home in Lahore a day before Eid-ul-Adha. The festival is celebrated by the Muslims all over the world by sacrificing animals like goat, sheep, cow, or camel.

Kamran Akmal, who last played an international game in 2017 against West Indies, continues playing domestic cricket as well as Pakistan Super League.

Kamran's father has claimed that they bought six goats for Eid-ul-Adha and tied them outside their residence in Lahore. He also believed that the goat was stolen at 3 am when their servant, who is responsible to look after the animal, fell asleep in the night. He said, "The thieves have taken away the best of them which was bought at the price of Rs 90,000."

Throughout his career, Kamran Akmal has played 268 international matches and scored 6871 runs across all competitions. Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Team will face Sri Lanka for the 1st Test match on July 16 at the Galle International Stadium.
