During a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) tournament, a fighter savagely put his fellow opponent through the table to the shock of many in attendance at the venue. Ever since the video of the incident has gone viral on social media, viewers have been reacting hilariously at the sight of the BJJ fighter being manhandled.
As a self-defense martial art, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is quite a popular sport among folks who are interested in learning the art of grappling and submission holds. The main emphasis in BJJ is on grappling an opponent down to the ground, from where the fighter can get into a dominant position to force a submission with the use of chokeholds or joint locks. It is important to note that BJJ is not the only grappling-based martial art, Judo and Wrestling also come into its ambit.

Meanwhile, in the short clip, shared on Twitter, two BJJ fighters were grappling one another in the middle of the frame, when, suddenly, one of them gained an advantage over the other one. He managed to pick up his opponent and powerbomb him through the table nearby, after walking a few steps towards it.

Some fans on social media linked the incident with the former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where superstars are well-known for putting the opposition through the table.
