After a number of players were contracted to the dreaded virus during the truncated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, most of them have shown good signs of recovery. Earlier it was wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha who recovered from COVID-19 and is all set to join the squad for upcoming England tour. Now it is another player who has won the battle against COVID-19 and will join Team India in Mumbai soon.

KKR pacer Prasidh Krishna to join Team India on May 23

The young pacer who made his Team India debut against England in March this year, is all set to join the squad in Mumbai ahead of the WTC final & England series. Prasidh Krishna, who is a part of India’s extended squad has recovered from COVID-19 and is set to join the side on May 23. He will leave from Bengaluru for Mumbai to follow mandatory quarantine.

The pacer has been named as one of the standby players along with fellow pacers Avesh Khan and Arzan Nagwaswalla and batman Abhimanyu Easwaran.
