Promising Indian cricketer Rinku Singh who delivered some of the most sensational performances in the latest season of Indian Premier League 2023 got featured in Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). The Indian quiz show, hosted by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, is undoubtedly one of the most popular TV shows. The show has turned many lives in the past few years by allowing them to earn money by answering a few questions.
In the recent episode of KBC, Amitabh Bachchan had his son Abhishek Bachchan along with his co-host Saiyami Kher and director R Balki. The cast was there for the promotion of their new film ‘Ghoomer’. In the show, Bachchan asked a question for INR 6.4 Lakh, related to Kolkata Knight Riders’ batter Rinku Singh.
The question was, “Which Kolkata Knight Riders batsman hit five sixes in a row in the last over of a match in the 2023 IPL?” There were four options given, Andre Russell, Nitish Rana, Rinku Singh and Venkatesh Iyer.
Notably, in a game against Gujarat Titans, Singh hit five consecutive sixes off Yash Dayal’s deliveries. With his brilliant knock, Rinku guided his team to victory in an impossible situation. The 25-year-old had hit 48 runs off 21 deliveries and KKR defeated Titans by a margin of three wickets.
