With the start of the new PUBG Esports season, Krafton has announced the new eight Global Partner Teams 2023. The applications for the Global Partner Team (GPT) program were opened last December. So after a detailed evaluation, eight teams have been selected as Global Partner Teams for the 2023 season.

These teams will receive special perks over the PUBG Esports calendar as they will get guaranteed slots to participate in the upcoming Global Series. These eight teams will also have team-branded items which will be available in-game. The teams will gain profit from the revenue generated by the item sales and allow fans to connect with their favourite organisations.

For the selection of these teams, an evaluation committee was created to review applications based on three major categories: Governance, Fandom, and History. Additional criteria for the selection also included past performances in top-tier events. The reason behind the initiative is to help to develop an even stronger PUBG Esports ecosystem that is sustainable and competitive.

The following teams have been included in PUBG Esports Global Partner Team(GPT) program:

  • Four Angry Men

  • 17Gaming

  • FaZe CLAN

  • Gen.G

  • Natus Vincere

  • Petrichor Road

  • Soniqs

  • Twisted Minds

But the selection of these teams doesn’t restrict other top teams from competing in Regional events in Asia, America, APAC, and EMEA. These various teams will get an opportunity to qualify for the year’s biggest events.
