BGMI’s developer Krafton has revealed the dates of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 event. The event is set to take place from April 4 and the registration for the exclusive event are expected to begin from March 18. The teams which comprise minimum of four players, can register themselves for the event, which will be the first official BGMI event of the 2024.

In the event, many teams will directly get the invitation to join in the later stages of the tournament, depending upon their results of the previous events. As for other teams to register, they have to register through the Esports Battlegrounds Mobile India website. Information like every teammate’s name, game ID, DOB, and more is necessary to provide on the website.
Recently, on March 16, Krafton had posted on their various social media pages that the registration of the much-anticipated event is around the corner.
What are the expected changes in this season?
With the BGIS 2024 set to start soon, there are some assumptions already on the changes this new season brings to the players. Recently, “Mazy”, who is an official caster of BGMI also revealed on the possibilities of the significant changes before the start of new season.
One such possible change will be the all new points system which gives points to the teams, similar to the concept used in the PUBG mobile points system. Another such change expected to roll out is that the teams will now receive just 10 points instead of regular 15 for chicken dinner and this will keep decreasing for the teams placed at a lower position.
Changes are also expected in the zone meta where the sizes of time, and zone would be changed. This season will also see new Transfer Window, which means that teams can trade or exchange players, according to their needs.
