It has been only three games into the league stage, but the Indian Premier League (IPL) has already started showing its true colors. The second game of the first doubleheader on Sunday was the best one till now. Although it was a run-fest at the DY Patil Stadium, the spectators had their hearts in their mouths on most occasions. While it was Faf du Plessis and Dinesh Karthik for RCB, it was Dhawan and Rajapaksa for Punjab Kings.
The bowlers were always on their toes throughout the game. They struggled for line and lengths as batters kept coming at them. However, their turnarounds in the game as well. Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel tried to turn it around for RCB but their efforts seemed too little in front of some serious power hitting from Punjab batters.
This, too close yet too far story for RCB triggered some witty reactions from the fans.
