The eighth match of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) saw Dre Russ smashing Punjab bowlers all over the park. The West Indies all-rounder played a gem of an innings as he smashed an unbeaten 70 runs off just 31 balls to demolish PBKS' hope to win the game. At one moment, it looked PBKS are going to get away as they reduced KKR to 51/4 in 7 overs. But it was Russell's day and when it's his day, nothing comes in between.
Although the West Indies giant did it for the nth time for KKR, it was Umesh Yadav who set the game for KKR with his 4 wickets in the innings. The veteran pacer finished the game with bowling figures of 4-1-23-4. This dominating performance from KKR sparked some praiseworthy reactions from Twitter users.
