The 26-year-old has only played 4 T20Is and has scalped 3 wickets. However, he has had a rather impressive Test career so far, with 36 wickets in 6 matches. He also has 226 runs to his name at a scintillating average of 56.5. It is the skill-set of the Kiwi cricketer that makes him so highly-rated. He is a tall fast-bowler who can consistently bowl around 140 km/h. With explosive batting abilities also in his arsenal, he could be a dream pick for any side. This is why Jamieson could also end up as one of the most expensive buys during the Auction.

I haven’t paid too much attention to IPL Auction: Jamieson

Kyle Jamieson is not worried about the IPL Auction and is focusing on things he can control. He isn’t paying too much attention to what happens on Thursday. During a conversation with ESPNcricinfo, he said, “I think things will pan out the way they are going to tomorrow night (during the Auction) – whether that means I get picked up and go great and if not there’s still a lot of cricket to be played across the winter. I try not to pay too much attention. Things like that tend to take care of themselves.”
