
French for ward Kylian Mbappe has reportedly rejected the world-record offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal. The 24-year-old has been involved in a transfer saga with his current club Paris Saint Germain after refusing to sign a contract extension after the conclusion of his current deal in 2024.

The 2018 World Cup winner has been flirting with the possibility of joining Spanish giants Real Madrid as a free agent next year, a decision which has reportedly infuriated PSG. Hence the French club decided to transfer list Mbappe and received a record 300 million euro ($332 million) bid from Al Hilal on Monday.
The 24-year-old received a one-year deal to earn a monumental (700 million euros) in wages. But as per Fabrizio Romano and L’Equipe, Mbappe has rejected this offer and refused to enter talks with a Saudi Arabian delegation, which travelled to Paris for negotiations. These reports further reveal that Mbappe has already agreed personal terms with Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Al-Hilal completed the signing of Brazil forward Malcom on a four-year deal. The 26-year-old was playing for the Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg over the past four seasons. Similarly, Al-Hilal has also reached the advanced stage of negotiations with PSG midfielder Marco Verrati. The Saudi club now closing in on an agreement with PSG on a three-year deal.
