US Tennis star Serena Williams has been performing incredibly well in her last pro-tennis tournament as she zoomed into the third round at the Flushing Meadows. She defeated the second-seeded Anett Kontaveit 7-6 (7-4) 2-6 6-2 and ended the Estonian's run in New York.
F our-time NBA Champion LeBron James was seen calling Serena Williams the G.O.A.T or the Greatest Of All Time in a video posted on his social media as he celebrated Williams’ victory. LeBron being LeBron had to add some humour in his praise as he was also seen making goat sounds at Serena.

Like LeBron James, fans of Serena Williams aren’t sparing in expenses as they have been flooding the arena ever since the start of the major. As per Adam Budelli, spokesperson for StubHub (ticket resale company), ticket sales had seen a “huge jump” in interest for Round 2 since Williams’ win in the opener.
He said, “Her performance has driven up both prices and ticket sales for the second round, according to StubHub. The Wednesday night session at Arthur Ashe Stadium — which includes Williams’ match at 7 p.m. ET — saw a 75% increase since Monday night and accounts for almost 40% of ticket sales for the entirety of Round 2.
