The Legends League Cricket is all set to return in 2023. The upcoming edition will be the same as the first & will be held in February-March 2023. Notably, India Capitals won the second edition after Taylor and Johnson’s fireworks in the finale.
The third season of the LLC will commence from 27 February 2023, with the final set to be played on 8 March 2023. However, this upcoming edition of the LLC will be called LLC Masters and will feature three teams. Similarly, three teams only featured in the inaugural edition of the T20 tournament, but if reports are to be believed one more team can be made if players join the tournament.
With the tournament reportedly scheduled to be played in Qatar and Oman, the T20 league will see India Maharajas, Asia Lions and World Giants compete for the title. The former Indian cricketers also expressed their excitement ahead of the third edition.
While Harbhajan Singh successfully led India Maharajas in the exhibition match, he showed excitement for the third season. “I loved to be in the Cricket field with Manipal Tigers playing LLC-2 and it would be great to go back into the field with the upcoming LLC Masters”, he said.
“Excited to announce that I’ll be back in action again playing Legends League Cricket in February. And this time playing for Team India so I am really looking forward to it”, wrote former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan.
