Ligue 1 side OGC Nice defeated Lille 1-0 at the Allianz Riviera stadium on January 29 to register first of their four-game winning streak in the French league. However, Les Aiglons on Tuesday have filed a police complaint after an adult film was recorded in their stadium during their clash against Lille.
Nice initially discovered the video on Monday after some fans alerted the clubs through social media posts. The club then filed a police complaint on Tuesday morning. According to French outlet RMC, Nice have lodged a formal complaint after it emerged an adult film was recorded inside the stadium.
Apart from the French club, the company who operate the Allianz Riviera stadium, Nice Eco Stadium, have also reportedly filed a complaint for association of the stadium with the x-rated film.
Reportedly, fans heard some groaning and strong love making in the stadium and brought it to the club's notice through social media posts. The video was allegedly shot in the toilets during the Lille clash and reportedly the porn actress involved in the video took up a challenge to shoot a scene inside the Allianz Riviera.
British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is also interested in acquiring Manchester United from the Glazers, is the owner of OGC Nice. Meanwhile, Nice registered four consecutive wins in the Ligue 1 including the Lille clash and scored eight goals and conceded just one keeping three clean sheets. Their winning run include a 3-1 away win against Marseille.
Nice are scheduled to host Reims, who played a goalless draw with Les Aiglons on January 15, in their next Ligue 1 fixture on Saturday, February 18.
