The players list for the IPL 2024 auction has been released officially today. The auction is set to take place on 19th December in Dubai where a total of 333 players are there in the auctions in 19 different sets. 

Overall, a maximum of 77 slots are only available to be filled in all ten IPL franchises before the start of the 2024 season. Here in this article, we will have a look at the list of set-3 players from IPL 2024 auctions.

List of players in set 3 of IPL 2024 auctions:

  • KS Bharat from India
  • Josh Inglis from Australia
  • Kusal Mendis from Sri Lanka
  • Philip Salt from England
  • Tristan Stubbs from South Africa

The third set in IPL 2024 auctions have only five players from the wicket-keeper category.

KS Bharat has registered himself for a minimum base price of 50 lakhs in this category after playing for franchises like RCB and DC. In the absence of Pant, he made his Test debut for India and he was also part of the GT franchise in IPL 2023.

Josh Inglis has set himself at the highest base price of 2 crores for the IPL 2024 auctions.  Kusal Mendis, after  a fantastic season with the bat in the 2023 World Cup,  has registered himself in the IPL 2024 auction for a minimum base price of 50 lakhs.

Philip Salt had a decent IPL season with DC in 2023, but unfortunately was released by the Delhi franchise ahead of the 2024 auctions and he has registered himself at a base price of 1.5 crores.  

The young sensation Tristan Stubbs from South Africa was part of Mumbai Indians in the earlier few seasons and currently, he has registered himself at a minimum base price of 50 lakhs.
