Recently, former Liverpool midfielder Graeme Souness has altered his initial opinion of who is the best footballer among Ronaldo and Messi.

Graeme Souness take on the Ronaldo vs Messi GOAT debate:

Football pundit Graeme Souness has initially backed Lionel Messi to be the better player among the two, but Ronaldo's latest achievement has forced the former Liverpool midfielder to reconsider his opinion.

While  speaking on Talksports as quoted by the Mirror,  Graeme Souness admitted Ronaldo's excellence in three league- Premier League, LaLiga and Serie A. Souness said, " Ronaldo has done it in the big leagues. Messi has huffed and puffed in France and obviously, he's done in Spain and the Champions League. But Cristiano's done it in three leagues now. Spain, Italy and England, whereas Messi, OK, he's having a good year this year, but he's only really done it in Spain."

After scoring his milestone goal,  Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated the goal in a unique way, which has been touted as 'the peace of mind' celebration.
