10. Punjab Kings – 73 runs in 2017

Punjab Kings (formerly known as Kings XI Punjab) have the 10th lowest team total in the IPL history. PBKS were bowled out for 73 runs while batting first in a match against Rising Pune Supergiants in Pune on May 14, 2017. In reply, RPS won the match by chasing the target in 12 overs losing one wicket.

9. Royal Challengers Bengaluru – 70 runs in 2014

Royal Challengers Bengaluru were bowled out for just 70 runs in a match against Rajasthan Royals in Abu Dhabi on April 26, 2014. Pravin Tambe was the star of RR’s bowling line up with  the figures of 4/20. In reply, RR chased the target comfortably in 13 overs losing four wickets.

8. Royal Challengers Bengaluru – 70 Runs in 2019

The eighth lowest total in IPL history belongs to Royal Challengers Bengaluru as they were bowled out for 70 in the opening match of IPL 2019 against Chennai Super Kings in Chennai on March 23rd. In reply, CSK won the match by seven wickets chasing the target in 17.3 overs.

7. Royal Challengers Bengaluru – 68 Runs in 2022

Royal Challengers Bengaluru registered their second-lowest IPL total in a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on April 23, 2022. Batting first, RCB were bowled out for just 68 runs in 16.1 overs, In reply, chased the target in eight overs losing one wicket.

6. Kolkata Knight Riders – 67 Runs in 2008

Kolkata Knight Riders registered their lowest IPL total in a match against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on May 16, 2008. Batting first, KKR were bowled out for just 67 runs in 15.2 overs. In reply, MI chased the target in 5.3 overs losing two wickets.

5. Delhi Capitals – 67 Runs in 2017

Delhi Capitals (formerly known as Delhi Daredevils) were bowled out for 67 runs in a match against Punjab Kings in Mohali on April 30, 2017. Batting first, the whole DC team was all out for 67 runs in 17.1 overs. In reply, PBKS won the match by 10 wickets chasing the target in just 7.5 overs.

3. Rajasthan Royals – 59 Runs in 2023

Rajasthan Royals registered one of their worst batting performances in the IPL in a match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Jaipur on May 14, 2023. Batting first, RCB posted 171/5 with the help of half-centuries by Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell. In reply, RR were thrashed for just 59 runs in 10.3 overs losing the game by 112 runs.’

2. Rajasthan Royals – 58 runs in 2009

Rajasthan Royals have a record for second highest total in the IPL history as they were bowled out for just 58 runs in a match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Cape Town on April 18, 2009. In reply to RCB’s 133/8, RR were all out in 15.1 over losing the match by 75 runs.

1. Royal Challengers Bengaluru – 49 Runs in 2017

Royal Challengers Bengaluru scored the lowest-ever total in the IPL history in a match against Kolkata Knight Riders in Eden Gardens in Kolkata on April 23, 2017. Batting first, KKR were all out on 131 runs in 19.3 overs. After that, their bowlers pulled off an amazing performance and bowled RCB out for just 49 runs in 9.4 overs. RCB lost the match by 82 runs.
