Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, who turned 25 on Wednesday, had a spectacular last night at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse despite the loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Doncic buried 45 points alongside nine rebounds and 14 assists, however, the home side pulled off a win as Cavaliers forward Max Strus scored a buzzer-beater three when the hosts were behind one point. Ahead of the game, the Slovenian received a warm reception from the fans in Cleveland, and a video of the same has gone viral on social media.
Luka Doncic scored 27 first-half points with four three-pointers as the Mavericks led the Cavaliers by four points after two quarters. In the 121-119 loss against the Cavaliers, Luka registered 45 points with 17-of-29 shooting from the field and 6-of-11 from beyond the arc.
Ahead of the game, Luka received heartfelt greetings from the fans in Cleveland, who sang 'Happy Birthday' in Slovenian. In a viral video on social media, the fans in Cleveland wished Luka a Happy Birthday while the Mavericks guard signed autographs for the fans.
