India and CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja stole the night after his match winning knock against defending champions Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 Final late on Monday night. The CSK star player scored the winning runs for his side as he smashed a six and a four to finish thing for the Yellow Army, taking them to record equaling win.
What grabbed limelight was that soon after he hit the winning runs, he ran towards the CSK skipper and legend MS Dhoni and the two hugged, sealing the moment in the best possible way. Hours after this win which is set to go down in history for several reasons, saw the match-winner share a heartfelt post for MS Dhoni.
The 34-year-old in the post dedicated this win to just “ONE and ONLY “MS DHONI”. “We did it for ONE and ONLY “MS DHONI. ( trophy emoji) mahi bhai aapke liye toh kuch bhi…,” he captioned the post with red heart emojis.
Jadeja also expressed his feeling after winning the match and his fifth title with CSK in front of his home crowd. After hitting those match winning runs for CSK, Jadeja said, “It feels amazing to win my fifth title in front of my home crowd. I am from Gujarat, and it is a special feeling. This crowd has been amazing. They were waiting for rain to stop till late night, I would like to say a big congratulations to the CSK fans who came to support us.”
“I would like to dedicate this win to a special member of the CSK side, MS Dhoni,” he concluded after the match, celebrating the win with his teammates and wife Raviba Jadeja.
