Alejandro Garnacho is an Argentine international footballer, who takes up the left winger position for the Premier League club Manchester United. Garnacho joined the youth team of Manchester United from Atletico Madrid in the year 2020. The Argentine International established himself as a key player under the former manager Erik Ten hag making over 100 appearances at the club and scoring 26 goals for the first team. However, his days at Manchester United are reportedly coming to an end after a breakdown in relations with the current manager Ruben Amorim.
According to the latest developments, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, Alejandro Garnacho wants to continue in the Premier League and is waiting for a bid from the current World Champions Chelsea. Chelsea are reportedly looking to further strengthen the squad after the signings of forwards like Liam Delap and Joao Pedro. They have Alejandro Garnacho on their target list along with Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig. Garnacho is not included in the pre-season squad of Manchester United and will have to wait for a bid from the Blues.
Garnacho rejects bid from Saudi Giants Al-Nassr: Reports
To fill in the place of Garnacho, Rashford and Antony not being part of the squad, Manchester United have completed the signing of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo ahead of the start of the campaign. Recent reports suggest that Garnacho had received a bid from the Saudi Giants Al-Nassr. However, he rejected the bid to reunite with his former team-mate and United Legend Cristiano Ronaldo. The Premier League club Aston Villa are also reportedly keen to sign the 21-year-old, which could potentially see the Argentina forward make a move to Villa Park if Chelsea do not come up with a bid.
Alejandro Garnacho has been known for his astonishing pace and creating crucial chances for the team. If Chelsea are to push to complete the deal of the Argentine international, they need to offload some players from the team. Christopher Nkunku and Armando Broja are the players reportedly not considered as part of the plans of Chelsea's manager Enzo Maresca, while Marc Guiu has agreed a deal with Sunderland on loan to find game time. It will be interesting to see where Alejandro Garnacho lands ahead of the upcoming season.
