Diego Maradona is considered to be one of the greatest football players of all time and is revered in Argentina for his mammoth contribution towards the nation’s success in the sport. Maradona won the 1986 World Cup where he carried the Argentine team through the tournament and took home the Golden Ball award, which is given to the best player of the event.

Going back to the match, the Brazilian team ran through South Korea as the Seleção Canarinho scored four goals to clinch the quarterfinals match against Croatia. Vinicious Jr. opened the scoring with an incredible goal after which Neymar Jr. doubled the lead with a penalty.

Then in the 29th minute, striker Richarlison smashed the third goal for Brazil after which Lucas Paqueta hit the fourth. Then in the second half, South Korea scored a consolation goal before losing the match 4-1.

Reacting to the win, Neymar expressed that the team is getting ready for the remaining three games in the tournament. He said, "We're dreaming of the title, of course. Today was the fourth game, there are three left. We're very focused on getting that title."

He also talked about his return after suffering an ankle injury in the opening game against Serbia. He said, "I am very happy to be back in the field of play, happy to have played well and now being called the Man of the Match is difficult as everyone played very well. We are happy with our performance. We wanted to move to the next round, win and that's what we got."
