Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford was spotted partying in Miami after breaking up with his childhood sweetheart fiancée Lucia Loi. Rashford had a successful 2022-23 season scoring 30 goals across all competitions as Man United finished third in Premier League and won the League Cup.
After the Red Devils concluded their season with a loss in the FA Cup final, Rashford travelled to Miami for an off-season vacation with teammate Tyrell Malacia and other friends. Reports stated that Rashford was parting at an exclusive nearby nightclub called Mr Jones. Later as he returned to this hotel he was spotted with a girl.
Sources quoted by the Sun confirmed Marcus Rashford’s breakup and stated that his relationship with Lucia Loi had run its course as the couple has been together since childhood. The source quoted saying, “It’s nothing complicated. The relationship ran its course and they remain very close friends.”
The pair fell each other at Ashton on Mersey School, in Sale, Greater Manchester, at the age of 15. But after nine years together, the couple split in May 2021 and cited the pandemic and lockdown pressures as the reasons. They reunited in January last year and four months later Rashford proposed to Lucia Loi at a Hollywood villa after a romantic meal at the seafood restaurant Catch LA.
Coming back to Marcus Rashford, the English forward was named as Man United’s Player of the Season. Upon winning the award, Rashford said: “Definitely a proud feeling, it's been a long time since an academy player has won this award so I feel a huge sense of pride.”
“I just hope that more academy players can go on and win this award and feel what I'm feeling right now on the stage. I'm very happy, very pleased, and I just want to say a big thanks to teammates, staff, because without them pushing you every day in training you don't get to see the best version of me. I appreciate all of you guys and thank you very much.”
