Just minutes after South Africa skipper, Temba Bavuma announced their playing XI for the highly-anticipated World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 Final, Cricket Australia also confirmed their XI on Tuesday, June 10. Captain Pat Cummins, who will be leading the side, hoping to get another Test mace to his name, confirmed their XI which will see Usman Khawaja walk out to open alongside a new face.
After the veteran Aussie opener, Usman Khawaja showed faith in Marnus Labuschagne, the Australian skipper on Tuesday confirmed that the Queensland batter will walk out to open in the crucial match. Moreover, the side has seen the return of Cameron Green, who is returning after a long-injury layoff.

While the opening pair has been confirmed, pacer Josh Hazlewood returns in the setup to form the holy trinity alongside Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc. While Hazlewood was given the nod ahead of Scott Boland, Beau Webster will be seen coming down at number six.
Apart from Boland, Sam Konstas, Josh Inglis, and Matt Kuhnemann will continue to sit on the sidelines as they couldn’t find a place in the XI.
