The Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians (MI) extended their winning streak to two matches after they beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Thursday, April 11 at the Wankhede Stadium. While it was a wholesome win for the MI, the Faf du Plessis-led side registered their fourth straight defeat in the ongoing edition of the tournament. 

Earlier in the match, it was the home skipper, Hardik Pandya, who won the toss and elected to bowl first. But in one of the videos going viral on social media, the toss official for the MI versus RCB IPL 2024 fixture, was seen flipping the coin while picking it up. As a result, this act gave the home side the advantage and has also sparked rumours of the IPL being predetermined.

However, there hasn’t been any confirmation on the same, this has definitely left the fans and the cricket enthusiasts talking. Some fans took to X (formerly Twitter) claiming that the MI have bought the umpires also.

Speaking about the IPL 2024 match 25 which was played between Mumbai Indians and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. After inviting the Faf du Plessis-led side to bat first, the visitors posted 197-run target on the board, courtesy a 40-ball 61 from captain Faf du Plessis and well-made 50s from Rajat Patidar and Dinesh Karthik.

However, the target was easy enough to chase for the home side with Ishan Kishan playing a 34-ball 69 and Suryakumar Yadav also scoring his maiden 50 of the season. The Mumbai-based outfit chased the total in just 15.3 overs to register their second win of the season and jump to seventh place in the IPL 2024 standings.
