Although India and Pakistan playing against each other is considered the biggest cricketing rivalry, India vs England has also become a good contest to look out for. There is a cricketing as well as a non-cricketing reason behind the growing rivalry between the two teams. The cricketing part is that both teams have been playing some good cricket making every game a thrilling content, the non-cricketing reason is the Twitter banter between Wasim Jaffer and Michael Vaughan.

The two former cricketers ensure there is enough hype before the two teams play. The former England captain Vaughan and Jaffer often exchange messages on Twitter. The two cricketers produce epic banter by sharing hilarious tweets. Now, as England and India played in the semifinal of the T20 World Cup 2022, the two were at it again.

Both the cricketers exchanged tweets before the game began. They also shared tweets after England thrashed India by ten wickets. “So @WasimJaffer14 .. Your forfeit .. You must film yourself singing ‘Jos Buttler’s Barmy army’ and post on here please .. Unlucky .. it was a close game,” tweeted Vaughan after the game.

Jaffer was prompt to reply, “I see you're having a ball on here. And fair enough too, England were superb. But I'm not following you.. I don't recall agreeing to film anything.. and please help me here, I know Jos Buttler, but what's a Barmy army?”

Now, Vaughan tried to be sarcastic where he shared a screenshot of Jaffer’s profile where it showed follows you.

Meanwhile, Jaffer made it clear what he meant by ‘not following you’.
