The third edition of Minor League Cricket (MiLC) will start on August 4 and run until August 12. The tournament will see 26 regional teams across the US compete in their conferences, resulting in more than 150 T20 matches being played. The player draft was completed on June 7th and saw plates moving between teams. The Seattle Thunderbolts are the reigning champions while the Silicon Valley Strikers won the inaugural edition in 2021.

Players from MiLC have gone to MLC (Major League Cricket) for its inaugural season and the MiLC is a genuine opportunity for more than 400 players in the US to get an opportunity to play in the MLC. In some ways, the MiLC is a feeder to the MLC and it is hoped that the tournament will be a way to develop talent at the grassroots level in the US.
