Mohit Sharma, the former purple cap winner in the Indian Premier League, made his triumphant return to the tournament after a three-year long absence in the Gujarat Titans jersey. On May 23, while playing the Qualifier 1 for GT against CSK at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, the 34-year-old bowler was able to dismiss MS Dhoni for one run. 

Ever since that moment, Mohit Sharma’s social media has been flooded with hateful comments from people who claim themselves to be MSD fans, but in reality, they are not worthy of being called as cricket fans. Looking back at the Chennai Super Kings versus Gujarat Titans encounter at Chepauk, it was an exciting contest between two quality sides for most of Tuesday night.
