Moonton unveiled the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Roadmap for the year 2024, which lays out the comprehensive plan to elevate the competitive landscape. The roadmap has been designed to guide the audiences about what they can expect from the sport and developers in the new year. The 2024 season will begin with the first half of the official regional league by Moonton, which will be hosted from February 2024 to June 2024.

While the Mobile Legends Professional League Invitational (MPLI) was not mentioned in the roadmap, the developers are likely to organise more tournaments to escalate the competitive landscape further. The plan for 2024 mentions the rebranding of the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) as a plan for aligning things with the MOONTON Games' groundbreaking “Esports for Everyone” vision.
The visionary roadmap for the 2024 season reflects a commitment to diversity and inclusivity. The roadmap aims to open doors and opportunities for athletes worldwide and enable them to participate and engage in one of the premier esports tournaments globally. The Mid-Season Cup also aims to expand its horizon beyond Southeast Asia for the first time.
Throughout the year, Moonton will host an astounding 2000+ Mobile Legends matches in more than 55 countries and regions. The tournament organisers will include professional, semi-professional, and community tournament organizers. As per the roadmap shared, the prominent M6 World Championship will be hosted with the wild card format along with the group and knockout stages and will be hosted in Malaysia.
