The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM)-sanctioned motorcycle racing series is the top tier competition. Since the beginning of the 20th century, there have been independent motorcycle racing competitions, and the MotoGP serves as the equivalent to Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Notably, there are no pit stops during the race, and it is nonstop from beginning to end. Two riders from each of the 11 teams' rosters make up the 22 cyclists. In 2023, this sport is hosting 21 Grand Prix as they tour around the globe, with India serving as one of the venues. The race will be held at the Buddh International Racing Circuit in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Italy’s Francesco Bagnaia, who represents Ducati, is leading the championship this year, with Spain’s Jorge Martin in second place and Italy’s Marco Bezzecchi in third.
