Dhoni fans supported gloves with an army insignia and #DhoniKeepTheGlove made it to charts

Be it a phone cover or his camouflage printed apparel, the Ranchi-born cricketer has time and again shown his love, admiration and respect for the Indian Army in his own way. The 42-year-old, who is also a Lieutenant Colonel with the Indian Territorial Army, was spotted in military-style wicket-keeping gloves with his battalion’s insignia during India's World Cup 2019 opener against South Africa in Southampton.

While fans were in total awe of this gesture by their Captain Cool, the International Cricket Council (ICC) had asked BCCI to get the symbol removed.  This move was highly disapproved by his followers, and soon #DhoniKeepTheGloves started trending on social media.
