Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has joined the new social media platform - Threads. Dhoni signed up on Meta's Twitter rival a day after celebrating his 42nd birthday. So far many top Indian cricketers like Rishab Pant, KL Rahul, Dinesh Karthik, Smriti Mandhana and international stars like Pat Cummins, Steve Smith etc have joined the Instagram-inspired platform.

In the space of minutes, Dhoni amassed a massive following of over 50K followers on the platform. Talking about Dhoni's other social media platforms, Captain Cool has 44.3 Million on Instagram, 8.6 Million on Twitter and 27 Million on Facebook.
