The IPL 2023 winning captain MS Dhoni underwent a successful knee surgery after continuous problem that occurred to his knee during the two-month long cash-rich league. The CSK skipper, who recently led his team to their fifth title win, the 41-year-old was cited at the Kokilaben Hospital and later updated on undergoing a surgery.

Days after the surgery, the former India skipper was seen enjoying a meal with someone, whose identity remains unrevealed. The skipper looked happy as he enjoyed a south Indian platter and a cup of tea or coffee, in a picture going viral.

The sixth IPL win with the Yellow Army could have proved to be a fitting farewell for the great of the game MS Dhoni, but the legend soon after lifting the title brushed all the rumours as he said that he will return for another year to thank his fans.
During the post-match presentation ceremony, Dhoni was questioned on his retirement, to which he replied, “ If you circumstantially if you see it's the best time to announce the retirement. The easy thing for me to say is thank you and retire. But the hard thing to do is to work hard for nine months and try to play one more IPL season. The body has to hold up. But the amount of love I have received from CSK fans, it would be a gift for them to play one more season. ”
