The stat was shown as Indian captain Rohit Sharma was nearing his ninth Test hundred and discussed the best conversion rates for Indian batters who have at least 10 half-centuries in Tests at home. Sharma has a 50 per cent rate, below Kohli's 52. However, leading the list, Vijay has a conversion rate of 60 per cent, as he has scored nine centuries in 30 games in India.

Talking about Murali Vijay, the Tamil Nadu batter recently announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket to play in international leagues worldwide. Vijay announced this decision on January 30.
