With the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 just seven days away, defending champions Mumbai Indians are all set for the season-opener. Rohit Sharma-led side have added a net bowler ahead of their opening fixture against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 9.

The player happens to be Rasikh Salam. The 19-year-old net bowler for Mumbai Indians, earlier joined the side in 2018. He became the youngest player to feature in the IPL and only the third from Jammu and Kashmir to get an IPL contract.

However, the Kashmir bowler withdrew from India Under-19 squad after the Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) banned him for two years for age fudging.
